Low-Profile Hopper Tees

Ground Clearance on tank trailers has long been a major problem, and with longer trailers it’s becoming an industry nightmare. Along with longer trailers comes increased problems with ground clearance on certain obstacles, including the railroad tracks.When the rigcrosses the upcoming tracks the bottom line will come in contact with the protruding rails causing damage to the bottom line, hopper tees, hoppers, or even worse, the tee itself could break causing a major spill.

Sure Seal has developed a new Low-Profile Hopper Tee with the same great features as the standard tees with one major difference -greater Ground Clearance. Models include the low-profile bottom drop tee (left) and the low-profile tee (right).
